Divest Mount Allison​

Divest MTA has determined that as of December 31, 2023, Mount Allison University invests over $6 million into the arms and technology companies complicit in the genocide Israel is committing against Palestine.

Following our action of interrupting the Mount Allison Board of Regents meeting on November 14, 2025 and being informed of "plans for plans" for sustainability, Divest and Climate Justice MTA has updated our lists of demands to more clearly emphasize the urgency of climate action, expand on the holistic aspects of our demands, and to demand representation of our activists in institutional structure, specifically the environmental issues committee. On Friday, November 14, Divest & Climate Justice MTA interrupted the Mount Allison Board of Regents (BOR) meeting to demand climate action. This action was staged because Mount Allison University has failed to act for the twelve years that we have demanded divestment from the environmental destruction and colonial violence of the fossil fuel industry.
