Divest Mount Allison​

Divest MTA is always open to new organizers and collaborations with like-minded clubs, societies, and community groups! You don't need any experience to get started with activism, just passion!

Signing up does not mean you will be required to come to all our events or meetings, we appreciate all levels of contribution. Meetings are held semi regularly, 1-2 times a month and sometimes more when a big event like a protest is coming up. There will always be an option to join meetings digitally and masking is strongly encouraged at all meetings and event as fighting for environmental justice is intersectional and requires consideration of our disabled and chronically ill peers.

A diverse range of skillsets, forms of knowledge, and perspectives make movements like ours strong. From art to technical financial research to public policy to environmental science to sociology, there are intersections between countless areas of passion and knowledge and our work.
